The 6th Aquarius Exhibition is going right now, don't miss it!

The exhibit is adorning the third floor of the Medina County District Library with 118 works of art from 64 of our MCAL members. The exhibition goes until February 26th and is open during bank hours.

CALLING ALL MCAL ARTISTS!

Bring one or two of your best pieces, never shown before in any Aquarius Exhibition, to the Medina County District Library on Tuesday, February 2nd from Noon to 6:00 P.M. I know you’ve all been busy creating something special and that time we have been talking about is now here; the 6th Annual Aquarius Exhibition. 

The prospectus is included within the newsletter along with the invitation for you to copy to give to your friends and family. You can also download the prospectus and the invitation from the downloads section of the website. There will also be extra entry forms available at the time of check-in. 

Our opening reception will be Saturday, February 6th from 1-3 P.M. with awards announced at 2 P.M.

Ann Kellish has been busily organizing the gallery sitting schedule.  I hope everyone cooperates by arranging for at least one sitting time.  It’s an easy job with only a few things to do that are all written out for you.  And you get to see all the artworks close up.

Pick-up day is Saturday, February 27th from 12-3 P.M.  If that doesn’t fit your schedule, please make arrangements with someone else to take your things, or let me know and I will take care of it.  Just call Deanna at 1-330-659-4301. 

We all need to let the library staff know how much we appreciate their hospitality and cooperation. They have been a major help to all of us.

Introducing the new, revised Marie's Cafe exhibits Co-Chaired by Lee Beuther AND Suzanne Hawley  and featuring three-month exhibits!

Suzanne Hawley and Lee Beuther are now co-chairing this committee. Suzanne will be recruiting artists for August through January, and Lee will be recruiting artists for February through July.  Additionally, the exhibits will run for three months instead of two months.

Please stop in to see the current exhibit featuring  Sharon Borror, Deanna Clucas, and Frank Geric. This show is colorful and uplifting, and enjoyed along with a cup of coffe is sure to get your New Year off to a good start.

The current show will end on Monday, February 1, 2010.  Barbara Johns, Linda Kenski, and Pat Newhauser will be exhibiting during the months of February/March/April.  If you would like to exhibit some of your artwork during the months of May/June/July, please contact Lee Beuther as soon as possible.
